Wanderful Gifts for the Jet Setter 2020 – Stay at Home Edition

Wanderful Gifts for the Jet Setter 2020 – Stay at Home Edition

It is that time of the year again, and I’ve compiled another list of new items that I’ve personally loved and a few that are on my wishlist 😉 2020 collectively was a dumpster fire of a year, but thankfully we can look forward to Christmas and cheer up our loved ones. I’ve compiled a Stay at Home Edition, there is a chock full of goodies that you can enjoy at home, and few abroad for when travel opens up again. I hope you have a wonderful holiday season!

Weekender Bag, Blanket, Mini Fridge, Electric Toothbrush, Mint Portable Keyboard

Lo & Son’s Catalina Deluxe Weekender Bag – you can choose between a small and large. I’ve been eying this bag for a long time, and I was so thrilled to finally get it this year. The price tag is on the higher end, but it is so worth it. What I love about it is, that it has a separate compartment for dirty laundry, shoes, etc. It is also cushioned at the bottom, you can also slide it over the handle of your suitcase. After doing research, I opted for the Deluxe Small in Ash Grey – because this one fits underneath the seat on the plane, as well as the overhead bin. The cushioned handle made it a lot easier for me to carry it around, it did not hurt, and it is removable! Check out the size guide to decide which bag would fit your needs the best. The Deluxe Small is on sale for $86 and the Deluxe Large is on sale for $112

Amped Fleece Throw Blanket from Urban outfitters. You can never have enough blankets. This feels like butter, so warm and cosy. Perfect for lounging around the fireplace curled up on the couch and reading a book or on road trip. Currently Urban Outfitters is having a BOGO 50% off sale.

Gluten-Free Restaurant Cards by Jodi from  Legal Nomads.  You can have them emailed, and self laminate if you choose. My lovely friend Jodi (who you might recognize from her cameo in my Apple commercial), is one of my dearest friends, and recently she has been battling a serious illness with CSF leaks.  Read her story here. She is a brilliant writer, friend, and human being. I am celiac as well, and I was thrilled when she started up the Gluten-Free translation cards, I have a few of them myself in Thai and Spanish. Each card retails for 8.99 each, she has them in 15 different languages.

Cooluli Portable Refrigerator – Perfect for storing lotions, jade rollers, and other cremes you’ve purchased abroad. Pro tip – store a face mask in there for a quick pick me up.

Phillips One ToothBrush by Sonicare – I’ve always bought disposable electric toothbrushes for my international trips. But I won’t have to anymore, since I just bought this toothbrush right after I found out about it. I love the colors (coral, yellow, mint, and navy blue), and the fact that it comes with a case to store your brush. It even times your brushes, ensuring that you get the best out of each cleaning. It lasts for 90 days, and you can opt for a subscription to receive new heads and a new battery every 90 days.

Bluetooth Jelly Comb Keyboard – this is on my wishlist, I love the selection of colors, and look how retro

Silk Mask, TSA Bag, Green Travel Blanket

Slip Pure Silk Sleep Mask – Sleep in style, silk pillowcases are all the rage and rightfully so. They are perfect for preventing frizziness, so it makes sense that the next step would be to get a silk sleep mask.

Clear TSA Approved Toiletry Bag – I bought this for my trip to London last year (sigh, remember when we could travel?), and was shocked at how much I could fit in it! The best part is that it has a handle, which makes taking it out of the bag easily in the security line at the airport. Another thing that I love is that the top cover zips all the way around, making it easy to clean the interior of the bag, and to store items inside.

Cocoon Insect Shield CoolMax Blanket with bag – If only I had discovered this blanket before my trip to South Africa! I wish I had this lightweight, insect repellant blanket on those early morning safari trip. It would have been so handy, I love using it on planes, road trips, outdoor events, etc.

The Content Planner – I love this calendar for my business, I can keep track of my goals, she has personally put together a thoughtful calendar for business. There is a list of every holiday, fun holidays like hotdog day, pancake day. So you know exactly what to publish on social media, be it international cat day or dog day 😉 Plus it comes with several sheets of stickers and a faux diamond top pen. Currently you can choose between Cream/Coffee, Tropical Pink/Mango, and Blush/Fresh Linen color schemes.

Black Fitbit Watch, Mint FItbit Band, Beaded Fitbit Band

Fitbit Charge 4 – Now that we are stuck at home for a while longer,  keep track of your steps with this health device. It is now waterproof, which means you can swim with this. Plus, it also has contactless payments so no more carrying around your cash on walks/runs. You can even make payments on the London Underground , and various metro stations around the world. I have yet to try this feature, but cannot wait to try using it in the metro system next year.

Fitbit replacement bands – It comes in twenty different colors, which makes it easier to match your wardrobe!

Dressy Fitbit replacement band –  wanted something that would not make my Fitbit stick out like a sore thumb at dressy events. This was perfect for the many networking events I had to attend the World Travel Market last year.  This works for the Fitbit HR Charge. Available in Black, Rose, and Silver.

Converse Shoes with no tie elastic, Hand warmer, Instantpot, and nail strip stickers

Xpand Elastic Shoelaces – These elastic shoelaces are perfect for taking your shoes off with ease at the airport, flexible, and snaps in place which means no more tripping on untied shoelaces! Available in 35 colors, including glow in the dark to add some pep in your step.

Karecel Rechargeable Hand Warmers – A must have during winter. Not only does this warm your hands up in a instant, it also doubles as a phone charger. Brilliant!

Instapot – Now that we have all this time at home, why not take the time to recreate your favorite dishes abroad. Available in 3QT, 6QT and 8QT sizes.

Color Street Nails  – I am obsessed with these. Made from 100% real nail polish, they come in a variety of seasonal prints, patterns, glitter and solids. I always pair them with my favorite Seche Vive top coat to ensure a lasting effect. They personally don’t chip for 3 weeks! You can easily apply them in 15 minutes, and it is perfect for travel. No need to worry about your nail polishes breaking or spilling in your luggage anymore, just press them on and go! The only downside is that you will need to find a friend or a Color Street Stylist online to purchase from them.

Pets:

Green Dog Seat belt straps, and Purple Sherpa lined Carrier

Vastar Seatbelt – it hooks on to your dog’s harness, and the other end of the strap clicks into place in the seatbelt. How clever is that? It gives me peace of mind, knowing my dogs are secured safely in the backseat. Available in 6 colors.

Dog/Cat Carrier – When I rescued Nellie, she was a stray from California, so I needed something to transport her back to Idaho. I found this perfect carrier for her, it is airline approved, and it fits underneath the seat perfectly. The Sherpa lining is a fantastic feature, plus it had pockets on the side so I could store her treats and food. What I also did was take the collapsible bowls, and hooked it on the side with the carabiner.

Books:

She Means Business cover, Notes from a Small island book cover, Wild book cover

She Means Business: Turn Your Ideas into Reality and Become a Wildly Successful Entrepreneur by Carrie Green. I LOVE this book I devoured it over one weekend. I found it inspirational, filled with ideas and tips. You feel as if she is talking to you personally, on a girl’s night out. I swear, things clicked as soon as I finished it and I use the tools that she laid out.

Notes From A Small Island by Bill Bryson – Of course, I had to mention my favorite author. This is an endearing recount of his time spent in England.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed – A poignant memoir about a woman who hiked the Pacific Crest Trail, pick this up if you’re considering doing the same.

All of my items that I’ve included in this post, as well as my previous gift guides have been added to my amazon storefront.
