Paula’s Place, Crestline, California When you walk in you get the sense of a country feel, the baked apple pies, you see the locals that always frequent the diner. You are invited to sit down by an waitress named Dawn, and she brings you your cup of Joe and gives you the menu. After a while of debating from a list of Delicious menu choices, you hesitatingly order your food while thinking among yourself, “what if I want the other one?”. The wait is a bit long, but it is worth it once the smell of a typical breakfast wafts right in front of your noses. The first bite is just absolutely grand, all the savory tastes meld in together as you take another bite. Paula’s Place is actually quite new, when its owner decided to leave her previous job in search for a place to call her own. Living down the street, I never knew the place existed, never knew what I was missing out on. After finding out about this place, I decided to give it a try, and just raved about my overall experience. When the owner personally greets you goodbye, and tells you to “Come on down for lunch if you get hungry”. It reminds you of an country feel, a place that is familiar as you step out to the fresh mountain air, you will be glad you went. If you are ever in the area, do stop by this quaint little restaurant and try either the Blueberry pancakes, or their omelette’s made to order. Happy Traveling!

I’ve been to this place twice for breakfast and it’s a wonderful recommendation! The staff is really polite and helpful and the food is fantastic.
