Well, Switzerland was quite interesting, expensive but my time there was short.. Can you guys figure out the reason why?
The country definitely lives up to its name, shoppes are filled with cuckoo clocks, and you guessed it, the Swiss army knives. After a while, I felt like I was seeing red! Luckily I was able to escape the touristy spots, and delve into a hidden location in Lucerne. There lied an beautiful monument etched in stone, appropriately named the Lion Monument. Grandeur in size, with beautiful engravings below as well as Pond. I advise you to not swim in the pond, its an natural pond and tourist have infiltrated it with trash.
However, I DO advise you to do what I did, Seek out for an nice sandwich in the local shoppe, bread, meat, and whatever toppings you prefer, u can get all that for 20 Swiss Francs.. And head out to the park, and sit on those lovely park benches and just take in the beautiful serene park. And sometimes they have local singers, singing for change so it actually provides such an memorable experience in Switzerland.
You will be amazed how far 50 francs can do for you in Switzerland for one day. Which was the amount of time spent in Switzerland. You should visit Lucerne just to see the park, it makes the extra step worth it. It is a expensive country, you can spend a longer time here, if you have some serious cash to spend. Not quite ideal for travelers on a budget.

Hello Dear Chérie,
I just discovered your website through the story on apple.com. I just want to say that I really like the way you share all your travels.
I live in Switzerland and was reading your post. Happy that you liked our (expensive) country 🙂
If you come a second time in Switzerland, choose my region : Montreux (near Geneva lake)
This is an awsome place with vineyards and breathtaking sights.
All the best for you,
